WORLD CUP 5 SOCHI, RUSSIA

Hi everyone,

Ok so now we start, the world cup, and test the olympic arena before the olympicsstarts next year, that will be held here...

I will be skating tomorrow 1500m first around 12 o´clock here in Sochi, that is 3 hours before swedish local time.

Later on of the day I will skate 1000 m. As normal on the world cup you skate the distance that your team leader/coach has decided and tomorrow is the qualifing day. If you have not qualified you have a second chance in the morning to try again, on saturday or sunday depending on the distance.

I took some time to look around alittle.
 The first picture is the Olympic ice rink for Short Track and Figure skating at the olympics.

In the second picture I have a bit of the long track rink to the left and on the right I have the training rink for Short track and figureskating.

In the third last picutre you have the training rink for Short Track, so when there is figureskating or we are not aloud on the olympic ice rink we will train here.

It is really interesting how thing looks now and what will be later... 1 year to go but still alot to build and I cant understand how they will be on time but they probly will be ready with the buildings and roads and other things that has to be build.

Olympic arena Iceberg

Hi everyone,

Here is the arena called "Iceberg" for Short Track and Figure skating at the Olympics 2014 Sochi, Russia:)

It feels like the arena is smaller than the Vancouver Olympic Arena 2010....
I am going to take more pictures hopefully I can put up other pictures as well!

Här kommer ett meddelande till Anders Ågren, tack för ditt brev innan tävlingen, jag hade skrivit på de bilder du ville ha och hade fått en hel del autografer från andra åkare. Jag la kuveret på en hylla för att jag skulle ta det sen, kommer efter tävlingen och allt är slängt och jag får hjälp av andra och vi hittar inte brevet till dig:(. Eftersom jag skulle posta det så fick jag ta det efter tävlingen, men jag hittade inte den igen:( Om du någon gång skriver brev till mig igen kommer jag hålla hårt i det! Jag tycker det är viktigt att du vet att jag verkligen skrev och har haft dig i tankarna. Hoppas allt är bra med dig...

Malmö European Championship is over and today I finally could skate strong:)

1.33.8 on the 1000m was a perfekt end of the competition:)

It means that I am really on the right path to my goals:)

European Championship this weekend!!! MALMÖ

This week is the European Championship in Malmö!:)

Today I was in the Metro newspaper and on SVT again but in the program called "Landet runt" from 13 january.
It is alot of media, and I really hope many will come and support me at the competion this weekend. So they can really see the sport SHORT TRACK!:)

Denna veckan är det EM i Malmö!:)

Idag var jag i Metro tidningen och på SVT igen men i ett annat program som heter landet runt. Det var repris idag så om man vill se det på svtplay can man se efter den 13 januari.
Det är mycket media just nu och jag hoppas många kommer och hejar på i helgen! So det verkligen får reda på hur sporten Short Track funkar.

I got the information that I was going to be on tv today from the reporter yesterday but it was not. I will have to find out when it is on, sometimes the reporter do not know 100% when the clipp they have made will be on tv.

1 week more before European Championship starts!

So now I have one more hard training week before preparing the last on the week of the European Championship. In Malmö you can see me on many posters. I am training the best I can to prepare!:)
To be injured for so long I can finally smile again. I really have done the right thing and I am proud for that. I will give the best I have, both my calfs have been the problem and they are finally getting less painfull:) for me that is a big relief.
