FINALLY!

I have not written on the blog for 1,5 month, but now I have a possibility to tell some good news.

I have finally found a physiotherapist who is well known and expert on the kind of injury that I have had.

It has been an inflammation in both outside calves. I have felt sore day and night for a long time and the reason for that is an inflammation.

The muscles have been overused and when the calves are overused the body wants to compensate with other muscles. After that the calves are not function properly and you can get an inflammation.

I start slowly my rehabilitation next week and I am really looking forward to train again and soon be back on hard training. There is one thing that I miss the most, that I will soon be able to do again... Skate! I really miss skating. I have never before had a break this long, without skating.

I want to thank my family and friends for their support while I and others had no clue of what my problem was with my injury. I will never say it has been an easy time for me. The pain I have had led to a lot of resting at home. Sometimes I sleep in the middle of the day, because the pain is affecting my whole body. The constant reminder from my calves that hurts was painful as well. It also affected my daily routines such as school, work and of course training.

But I never gave up. I just tried to find someone that could both understand what the problem was and give the right treatment for my injury. I want to thank the physios that figured out the reason for my injury, and who are now helping me back to skating and get a more normal life again with no daily pain, as I think will be the result.

I would also like to thank them for their support, help and kindness.

Now I have a long road ahead of me, but I am ready and I know it won’t be easy. I just have to finish my rehabilitation and then it is hard training. I will stick to my plans :)
