Ok so now we start, the world cup, and test the olympic arena before the olympicsstarts next year, that will be held here...
I will be skating tomorrow 1500m first around 12 o´clock here in Sochi, that is 3 hours before swedish local time.
Later on of the day I will skate 1000 m. As normal on the world cup you skate the distance that your team leader/coach has decided and tomorrow is the qualifing day. If you have not qualified you have a second chance in the morning to try again, on saturday or sunday depending on the distance.
I took some time to look around alittle.
The first picture is the Olympic ice rink for Short Track and Figure skating at the olympics.
In the second picture I have a bit of the long track rink to the left and on the right I have the training rink for Short track and figureskating.
In the third last picutre you have the training rink for Short Track, so when there is figureskating or we are not aloud on the olympic ice rink we will train here.
It is really interesting how thing looks now and what will be later... 1 year to go but still alot to build and I cant understand how they will be on time but they probly will be ready with the buildings and roads and other things that has to be build.
