Tomorrow we will start competition for the 1500 and 500m.
It will start around 10 (Montreal time) and will end in the afternoon.

Montreal

I am now in Montreal preparing for the World Cup 3 here, that starts on this thursday.

Octoberfest results

The racing was good no pbs, but on the 500m I showed that I am very close to a PB:)
Good to have some races before the next Worlds cups 3 & 4.

Octoberfest!

This week it is Octoberfest from friday the 9th - 11th October.

The competition will have a repecharge system, it means there will be an extra chance if you did not make it the frist round to the quaterfinals..

If there will be a result online, I will put it here on the blog.

Back in Calgary

After having a not soo good World Cup 1-2 in Asia, with a sprain akle and having a cold for 2 weeks, I am back in Calgary to train until the WC 3-4.

Friday the end of the frist 2 World cups

After being sick for 1.5-2 weeks and having a swollen foot, I still manage to show my strength on the friday 1000m by skating strong against top skaters and go to the next round.

I will be headed back to Calgary and train there until the last 2 World cups of the season is.
They will be in Montreal (WC 1) and Marquette (WC2). They are the qualifying competition for the Olympics.

1500 & 500m

Today my 1500m was not good and it was a tuff heat too.

500m I started ok and in the end of the first corner I was fighting for my spot and feel down.

Tomorrow I will be skating 1000m...

Beijing and Seoul

I have not been able to logg on my blog in Beijing because they dont alow it.

Anyway I got a cold during my stay and Beijing and it has not been easy to compete with that.
I have a sore throught now but i feel it is getting alot better.

Racing will start again tomorrow here in Seoul, you can follow the races on the ISU link that is on the right lower side of my blog.

Tomorrow I will race 1500m and 500m and friday will race 1000m.
Then we´ll see if I go to the next round, I can skate Saturday (1500m and 500m) and Sunday (1000m) too.

Swedish cookbook

Early this summer, me and other athletes from different sports was askt to be in a cookbook.
The cookbook has a recipe from each athlete. There is also information about what we eat on a regular training day and on competition days.

Training camp Calgary

Hi everyone,
I am training in Calgary again and I've been here for a month now.

Can´t wait until my first World Cup will start, it's only one month left.

Traning camp in Norway.

The last 2 weeks I have been in Norway for traning camp and work. It was warm weather and I enjoyed my stay for a while:) somewere else than back home.

Soon I am off to Calgary, for a new traning camp. It's probably warm there too. I am excited to finally skate on ice that has good quality, the last months back home on ice has been different with really terrible ice quality...

I was in Stockholm last week doing tests for the Swedish Olympic Committee.

There was also a traning camp after that for al Swedish speedskaters.

New season...

Training has started for next season 2009-2010.

We still have ice until summer and soon training camps will start again.

New swedish record.

At the Swedish national championships I skated on the 3000m a swedish record with 3 seconds.
The new time is 5.17.454

This Season 2008-2009 I have skated swedish records on every distance.

There is four distance in Short track: 500m, 1000m, 1500m, and 3000m.
3000m is a distance you only skate once in a competition and if you are 8th overall, you are aloud to skate the 3000m. It is also called "Superfinal". You dont skate 3000m on World cups or on a smaller competition.

PB again!!

Today I skated 1000m and took a new swedish record.

My results has not been strong this weekend but I think my times was strong.

Yesterday I was in B- final and got a 12th place on the 1500m!!!

Today I fell on the 1000m repechage.
