I had a good weekend. On friday evening I was inlining with Malmö Night Skate.
Some fridays in the summer there is a lot of people who will inline together in town. We inline slow so everyone can come along. It does not cost any thing and you meet a lot of fun people:) I was helping out as "blocker" who will stop traffic with the police, so that we don't have anyone driving on the lane we are inlining on. I saw this kind of event first time in Paris about 10 years ago:).
But they were going really fast in the streets of Paris.
Training is going as usual and that is my focus and has been all summer. I did not find a job this summer:(.
I would like to remind everyone that, you can donate money to support my way to Sochi. I would like to get on camps where I can focus on just training and getting ready for the qualifying olympics. Another week mostly off ice...
Hi Everyone,
I have very few ice practise in the week right now, I cant wait to be on the ice more!!! We have eight ice rinks in Malmö. But in the summer most of them are closed down. Right now we have one that is open, it is not one of the two ice rinks I normally train on, but the most important thing is to be on ice. I really want to get back on my normal arena!
In the picture above is me doing what is called "dry skate" which means you train off ice the straight away technique as you would do on ice.
When it comes to barefoot shoes, there are now a lot of different kinds. And you just have to try some to find the one you feel good in.:) The barefoot shoes in this picture I like specially when I do skating exercise, and I have also find out that they are nice to run in too.
